The properties of barley are fantastic:
-it is excellent as a substitute for Carnaroli rice because it is very similar but with different properties. Just think of the calorie intake of about 300 calories per 100gr of product, of which the majority are carbohydrates
-together with them we also have a high fiber content.
-there are also amino acids such as thiamine and niacin; the names are technical but you need to know that amino acids are essential both before and after physical exertion. Excellent meal therefore for Cyclists, runners and athletes who do endurance sports.

Tip: shorten the boiling time by 45 minutes? Soak the Pearl Barley in the morning for the evening, you will shorten the cooking to 15 minutes and you can enjoy it without having to wait too long!
