A concentration of fibers useful for our body and with many usages
The bran comes from carefully selected cereals. The raw bran come from our own flours Type 1 and Type 2: once grounded the lighter part is stocked and used for other preparations, as for our Bran Ring-SHaped Biscuits.
PROPERTIES OF BRAN
- The huge quantity of fiber contained helps the bowel to better digest;
- It prevents diverticulitis, a classic inflammation for low quantity fiber diets;
- Perfect also for slimming diets: when paired with liquids it increases the sense of fullness;
- It has depurative properties as well: if taken regularly it is a perfect antagonist against tireness, mostly during the seasons change.
HOW TO USE IT
- During breakfast to be added to milk, yogurt or fruit juice. It also fit well with Fruit and hazelnut muesli or frutti di bosco.
- For omelette and soup, perfect to enrich them to make them even more nutritious.
- Bread dough: perfect for baking bread and to enrich poor flour, to obtain excellent tastes and flavours.
- Face and body scrub: mixed to coarse salt while showering, or alternatively with a mix of honey and lemon as a face mask.
